AI GOVERNANCE CERTIFICATION
Course Policies and Procedures
Effective Date: February 2026
1. Prerequisites and Eligibility
This program is designed for adult learners with professional experience. While there are no formal academic prerequisites, participants should have basic computer literacy and professional experience in business, technology, or related fields.
2. Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Withdrawal Process
Participants must submit withdrawal requests in writing via email to class@proceptual.com. Withdrawal requests are processed on the date they are received. Failure to attend classes or ceasing participation does not constitute official withdrawal.
Refund Schedule
- Before program start date: 100% refund
- Within 7 days of program start: 50% refund
- After 7 days of program start: No refund
Refunds are processed within 10–15 business days and issued to the original payment method.
Program-Initiated Cancellations
If the program is cancelled or postponed, participants will receive a full refund or may transfer enrollment to a future session at no additional cost. Proceptual reserves the right to modify program logistics as needed.
3. Academic Integrity and Professional Conduct
Academic Integrity Policy
Participants are expected to uphold the highest standards of honesty, fairness, and respect in all academic work.
Prohibited Conduct
- Plagiarism
- Cheating
- Fabrication
- Unauthorized collaboration
- Facilitating dishonesty
Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools
AI tools may be used as learning aids. AI-generated content must be disclosed and may not be submitted as original work unless explicitly authorized.
Sanctions
- Warning or remedial work
- Reduced or zero credit
- Failure to earn certificate
- Dismissal without refund
4. Technology Requirements and Technical Support
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Computer or laptop
- Webcam and microphone
- Modern web browser
5. Certificate Completion Requirements
- 80% score on final exam (two attempts)
- Successful AI governance capstone project
- Completion within 6 months of course start
Certificates are issued digitally within 3–4 weeks after program completion.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Proceptual complies with FERPA and protects participant data. Information is used solely for program administration.
7. Accommodations and Accessibility
Reasonable accommodations are provided in accordance with ADA guidelines. Materials meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
8. General Provisions
Policies may be updated with notice. Force majeure events may impact delivery. Disputes should be escalated through proper academic channels.
